In 2024, we successfully directed more resources into local and e-procurement supply chains, strengthening our environmental contribution and building a greener, more value-driven corporate foundation.
1. Highlights of Our ESG Procurement Actions:
⦁ Intercompany Transactions :
Local procurement ratio increased to 58.12%, up nearly 17% year-over-year. A significant 17% increase in local sourcing helped us effectively reduce the carbon footprint associated with cross-regional supply chains.
⦁ Excluding Intercompany Transactions :
Local procurement ratio reached 87.74%, showing steady growth. Even when excluding intra-group transactions, our local sourcing efforts continued to grow, reaching 87.74% — a clear sign of our commitment to building a more resilient and sustainable supply chain.
2. e-Procurement Revolution: Implementation Rates Surge from 42% to 86%
⦁ Through digitized procurement processes, we can not only significantly enhance operational efficiency but also substantially reduce costs. Our adoption reflects this value proposition, with e-Procurement implementation rates soaring from 42% in 2023 to 86% in 2024.
⦁ With the advancement of paperless operations, our practice in e-Procurement not only achieves corporate sustainability goals but also ensures that our procurement processes comply with various regulatory standards.
 
Low Carbon Emissions and Utility Management
1. Low Carbon Emissions
At BriteMED, we are taking real action to reduce our environmental impact. In 2023, our total greenhouse gas emissions were 317.83 metric tons of CO₂e. In 2024, that number dropped even further, to just 169.59 metric tons of CO₂e.
2.Utility Management
In terms of electricity management, power consumption decreased by 10.2% from 2022 to 2023, and further dropped by 18.9% from 2023 to 2024.
